 6/35  SW Steamboats came to Port Royal once a week. He would watch boats coming down the River, stopping at Port Conway then at Port Royal. Boats would frequently get stuck on sandbar in the river.

Married Liza Holt Turner that lived across the river from Camden. William built the house for her. Built by Stalkweather from Baltimore. Italian Villa Style. House is built out of cypress wood.
